Help please.

I started up my pc a few minutes ago and i noticed straight away that the
graphics were messed up. Its sort of like Vertical green blocks with normal
gaps(very small).
If you could help me then i would be very grateful as there is lots of work
i need to do on my computer today and with it like this, it will prove very
challenging.

first thing to do is check to make sure the cable is firmly connected.

other things to try:

reseat your video card

reinstall the video drivers
