help please- windows reboots on profile strart up

windows xp loads, when i click user the page stats tp load then computer shuts down. i can get in safe mode but can not display my restore points, they are there just wont display. have norton system works, and it seem as though when its trying to load running programg the comp. shuts down and goes into reboot mode??? please hel

Was your system working well before installing SystemWorks? If it was, go
into safe mode and uninstall the program. Then try again!

could it be vis yesterday after 5 mins. i shut down restarted and it worked all day. no luck w/that today.
