I am woring in a very small company.
We have only one Win2000 server (the PDC). From time to
time(once or twice a month), I found that the system
date/time of the computer was changed automatically and
incorrectly. For example, today is 2004/01/08, the date
was changed to 2020/01/08. --The date was always changed
to year 2020.
There is no other machine in our local network that has
this incorrect date/time. And our company use a ADSL for
internet connection.
I stopped the W32Time service one month ago but the
problem still happens.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot for your help!

IF THE TIME/DATE CHANGES ALLWAYS TO A PARTICULAR TIME/DATE
SAY...2020/01/08 THEN CHECK FOR CMOS BATTERY FOUND IN THE
MOTHERBOARD!

Thanks Naveen for the help and sorry for the delay of my
reply.
No, it is not changing to a same date. But it is always
changing to the same month/day of year 2020. For example,
if today is Jan 19, 2004, the date will change to Jan 19,
2020; if today is Feb 10th, the date will change to Feb
10th, 2020...
Feels like this a Y2K-related problem which the system
take the first two digits of year(20??)as the last two
digits of the year. So year 20AB became year 2020.
Anybody have an idea?
