HELP PLEASE!!! Right-click menu repeatedly appears w/o actually right-clicking

For a few weeks now my computer thinks that I am right clicking
repeatedly and the right-click menu continues to pop up when I have not
right-clicked. No matter what program I am running the problem still
arises. At times I cannot even type in my passwords without having to
left-click off of the menu a billion times. I have tried reinstalling
the touchpad drivers for the dell laptop and also I have tried system
restore. I have called dell and was walked through the driver
reinstallation process, however the problem still remains. I have
scanned my computer in its entirety for viruses with new virus
definitions; none were found. This happened about a year and a half
ago, but went away. I am not sure why it has returned nor what to do
about it. I cannot use my computer at times. PLEASE HELP I NEED MY
COMPUTER.

Sounds like a defective right click button.
Try clicking the right button several times.
Try using an external mouse. You may have to remove the touchpad drivers to
see if the external mouse fixes the problem.
