help please, pronble shuting down

ever time i try to shut down my system it freezes and i have to hold th epower button so it turn off... it boots up fine again but then again to try to shutdown it freezes mouse doesn't even move... any help please.

Its not really a safe thing to shut down the computer manually, although
sometimes you have to do it.

The freezing could be because of viruses or spyware.

Download Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com and Spybot S&D from
www.safer-networking.net and run a free virus scan from
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

I know this seems to be my solution to everything but it most of the time
helps.
