Ok. I'm on a domain enviornemnt, with Exchange 5.5 and
outlook 2000. I have a user who has a roaming profile, and
can log onto any machine and get his profile. The problem
is.... he has rules setup that are blowing away outlook. I
have recreated both profiles on the local and server, tried
different machines, and tried deleting the rules from
outlook. Every time I create a new outlook profile, it
tells me there are rules already in place. I have done
everything I know.... how else can I deleted these rules
off the server?

Thanks!

It crashed with what error? What is logged to the Event Viewer? Since rules
are stored within the mailbox recreating profiles won't solve your issue.

Tips of the month:
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
-Creating a Permanent New Mail Desktop Alert in Outlook 2003

This is the error in the event log.

Anyone? I'm going to delete his mailbox now... and
recreate it. Why would the rules still follow him though?
I deleted his mailbox last time, and placed him on a
different mail server.
