Help on Outlook 2000!

I'm trying to help a client with an old version of Outlook, Outlook 2000. I
think the mail files are corrupted, in that when it is downloading to the
mailbox Outlook blows off and generates one of those not very useful error
reports. Before it blows up I see there 270+ unopened inbox emails. Where are
the Outlook mailbox files? It's been a while since I fooled around with this
stuff and I can't find them. Thanks.

Search to include hidden for *.pst
Early versions of Outlook have a size limitation for the pst, it can baulk
at 1.6gb or above
Locate scanpst.exe, the repair tool, and run it against the pst (with
outlook closed) does it repair it?
