HELP needed with XP to 98 folder shares

I have a user that has folders on his XP workstation #1 that he wants
to access from his 98 workstation #2.
I've shared the files out and he can see them on his 98 workstation.
He is getting an error saying "Access is Denied" when he tries to open
the folders.

I have given him Full Control on all folders and entered him in as a
user on the XP workstation.
He still cannot access the folders.
What's the problem?

Make sure that both the 98 and the XP station have an
account with the same username/password.
