Help needed - virus problem affecting Internet Explorer

When I access Internet Explorer (it's Version 6 with
Windows XP) to access the web, it starts automatically
accessing random websites continuously and I cannot stop
it.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Get spybot and ad-aware. Use both.
