I’ve installed the IIS remote desktop SW on the the Windows XP pro
computer im trying to connect to. I can log on to it with another
computer on the same network by typing in http://[pcname]/tsweb.

But when I try it out side of my network say my friends house it won’t
even find the logging page.

i even tryed typing http://[ip address]:[port no.]/tsweb. but no luck.

I have a dinamic IP address with my ISP and my host computer is in DMZ
form the router.

any ideas???

I followed the insurctions from the following link:

If your home PC is behind a firewall/NAT/router you need to forward/open both TCP Port 80 (IIS) and
TCP Port 3389 (Remote Desktop) in order to use the web method. This also presumes that TCP Port 80
is *NOT* blocked by your ISP. Some ISPs block TCP Port 80 for home users because running personal
web servers violates the user agreement for home accounts.
