HELP!! Need to create a boot CD....

Okay, here’s what I got.....A friend of mine has a tower he wants VERY
slightly upgraded. It was a cast-off from his work, so he wanted the
hard drive wiped clean and upgrade the RAM to become a computer for
his kids.

Windows 2000 is on the system, but I want to take it down to 98se
because it’s not really designed for 2000.

Now for the fun part....MY machine is running XP professional and I
want to get HIS machine to a command prompt so I can run a program
called "ERASER" and wipe the hard drive. My proble is this
"ERASER" program has to run from a BOOTED command prompt, so I need
to create a boot disk.

Neither machine has a floppy ("A:") drive, so I have to find a .imz
image on the web, convert it to a .ima with WinImage and burn a
bootable disk with Nero 6.0.

Found a 95b image and converted it, but when I insert the CD into HIS
machine, I get an "Invalid system disk" error. Burned a 2000 boot
CD which got to a screen asking for disk 2 to be inserted into drive
a:, which I don’t have one of.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated as this
absolutely SUCKS!!!

I would download Ultimate Boot Disk and use that to boot your computer. It
has a hard drive erase in it, or maybe add the one you have.
