Help - Navigation Bars not showing

K

Kathie M. Thomas

I have used a template and done a webpage for a client, which is looking
great. Everything was working fine, but yesterday when uploading the new
newsletter it asked if I wanted to merge changes with the navigation bar, or
keep what was there already. I think I clicked on merge - although I cannot
fathom why there would have been any changes to the navigation online at
all. The client assures me they've not logged in to make any changes. Not
sure if my web host may have changed anything, but at any rate, I cannot
view the navigation bars at all now. They're showing on MS Frontpage 2000
in the edit view, I upload using MS Frontpage Publishing but when viewed
online the navigation bars aren't showing.

I have logged in via FTP and completely deleted the navigation bar folder,
all the htm pages and then reuploaded but still nothing. Does anyone have
any idea why this might be the case?

The URL is http://www.bridgeworks.biz - I desperately need to get this
working please.

Would appreciate direct response to my email address as
I only log into newsgroups occasionally - although I will check back in case
any answers come via this forum - it might be useful for others too.

Thanks,

Kathie T

Never merge. Merge bad.

*IF* your copy on your local hd web is good, do a full Publish up to the
server again.
Try Tools | Reclaculate Hyperlinks first.
You may want to try Recalculate Hyperlinks on the live server as well.

Hopefully you did not wack out the FP extensions by using FTP.

Thanks - I did do a local hyperlink recalculate, but not online so will try
that. Also did a frontpage server extension uninstall and reinstall as I
have access to the web server to do this - no go.

Regards,

Kathie
