Help My Recurring Meetings are disappearing off my calendar

I have Outlook 2003 and when i set up recurring meetings they are vanishing
from outlook, but showing up when i sync with my Treo, so i know they are
there somewhere. can anyone help me?

do you see them in By Category view?

Hi Diane, thanks for replying...for the life of me, i can not find the by
category view. can you help?

View>Arrange By>Categories or display the Advanced toolbar and use the View
drop-down to select "By Category".

Hi Brian, your post helped me search by category and i can see that the
calendar items that are disappearing are still in the By Category view. what
do i do now to stop them from disappearing?

What sync tool do you use. The symptoms you describe have been failrly
common for iPhone/iTunes, but not many reports for Treo syncs.

Are you using Exchange server? If so, pass this along to your admin -

That is the only fix for the problem at this time.

Hi Diane,

I have no administrator...just lonely old me. I have a Treo and use verizon
wireless sync to sync my messages. the calendar deletion problem seems to be
getting worse as well.

BTW, i only sync my email not my calendar, so i do not know why this is
happening.

Is "Verizon Wireless" the sync tool?

yes it is called Verizon "wireless sync."

Have you asked Verizon? Outlook does not take an active role in the sync
process and there are no settings within Outlook that can adjust the sync
process. It's all up to the sync tool.

Do you have a reminder set? If so, does removing the reminder change
anything?
