Hello everybody !

I just don't know what I did or what happened.

my PC doesn't see any more my DVD and CD R/W drives.
in device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark near each of these
drives, and an indication of Windows not being able to load the
corresponding pilots which, according to what's indicated in the property
box, could be missing or corrupted.

I restored to a previous date, to no avail.
I tried to uninstall each of thes 2 devices. No change.

anybody ?

thanks in adavnce for your precious help.

brgds,
Daniel

I'm having the same problem. I've got a dell inspiron that's using a Sony
cdrwdvd drive but for some reason I have a memory block corruption of 1% on
the device driver....if anyone knows where I could get a device driver for a
Sony CRX880A cdrwdvd drive that would be awesome.

You should probably do the same Mr. Daniel. Just get a new driver, uninstall
your cd drive and use the new driver when you re-install
