No... when I first ran it (just to see what it does...

I was prompted numerous times regarding applications installed on my computer with a message something like this: "such-and-such-app is not registered. Would you like to register it now?"
It ran from a cmd prompt window... so it exists somewhere on the defined file path (as in PATH command).

Nope ... doesn't ring a bell. Like assoc registering file extensions? Or
registering applications as in telling the makers of your software products
who you are and what product you're using ... ?
