im having a problem sending emails. and they wont show the sent items and i
have to sign up digital id. i never heard that before when i got this
computer with cox cable to installed and i signed up for window mail. and
everything was fine till now im having a problem for almost two weeks. they
wont let me send emails or pictures to my friends. i already put them in my
contacts. and stuff. but they do send me emails. but i cant foward or send
them back..

Hi Toni Ann,
It sounds as though your outgoing COX SMTP server name is wrong or entered
incorrectly.
Go here: http://support.cox.com/sdcxuser/asp/cox_welcome.asp and then use the
same outgoing server name that COX gives you for your region as they describe in
how to set up Outlook Express. They may not have added instructions specifically
for Windows Live Mail just yet.

When you enter the outgoing/smtp server name, be sure you are spelling it exactly
right. Be sure that you are entering your username and password and spelling it
exactly right too.

You sound like a new computer user; I am proud of you for knowing to come to
newsgroups to get help. The groups are a great resource. Best of luck with the
new computer. One tiny piece of advice.... when deciding on what to put in the
subject line for your questions, make that subject specific... not just 'help
me' - try to describe your specific issue as best you can in about 6 words or
less in the subject line, then of course elaborate in the body of your posting.
You'll get much better response and help that way.
