My parents have Xp and each use their own account to
login in, but some how my father got broadband and only
he gets it. when you click on the E under my mothers name
it says that you need to dial-up and i cannot fiqure out
how to fix it.

My neighbor was having this problem, and I found that
whoever logs in first gets it... There's an easy way to
fix it I'm sure, but I got around it by making sure no one
is logged in other than the person who is currently at the
computer.
None of this switching users crap...

In Internet Explorer go to Tools/ Internet Options/
Connections/ and check Never Dial A Connection. Click OK
on all box's, close IE and reopen, you should be able to
connect.
