| i was wondering if any one could help me in trying to load the sims 2. it
| has loaded up probably but i need a Direct3D 9+. How do i get this so i can

Make sure your video card is supported for the game first.
Here are two ways to identify which video card you have
installed on your computer.
1. Click Start / Run / type: dxdiag
Click the Display Tab
Look under Device for the name and manufacturer
2. Click Start / (Settings) Control Panel
Click Display
Click the Settings Tab
Click the Advanced... button
Click the Adapter Tab
