help me with Sims 2

hi

i was wondering if any one could help me in trying to load the sims 2. it
has loaded up probably but i need a Direct3D 9+. How do i get this so i can
play on the sims 2 please could you help thank you

Make sure your video card is supported for the game first.

Here are two ways to identify which video card you have
installed on your computer.

1. Click Start / Run / type: dxdiag
Click the Display Tab
Look under Device for the name and manufacturer

2. Click Start / (Settings) Control Panel
Click Display
Click the Settings Tab
Click the Advanced... button
Click the Adapter Tab
