Rafael

I have a notebook ACER TRAVELMATE 4220 with 512Mb of RAM.
The bus's frequency is 667Mhz and I don't know the memory's frequency... :)
In case that I buy a memory along frequency different there will some

Rafael,

You must install RAM of the same type that is already installed in your
laptop. The documentation that came with your computer should contain the
information that you need. But not to worry, just tell the vendor of the RAM
what laptop you have and the vendor will supply the correct memory sticks for
you. Or, you can check at the Acer website for the information that you
need. This type information is almost always provided at those websites.
You can also check at www.crucial.com for information on the correct memory
to get. At Crucial, you enter your laptop information into a search window
and it returns the type of RAM you need. There, you have several solutions
to choose from.
