Help me.... Hibernation.

D

Daniel

My trouble with XPE hibernation hasn't been solved yet, please help!

First let me explain what i did,

1. install XP professional
install intel motherboard drivers,
install display,
install audio card
install net card

then after setting, I can run hibernation successfully.

2. then I made components for XPE,

import *.inf file for display, audio card, and net card. ( without doing
that for intel motherboard drivers, I think TAP.EXE help me do that already,
am I right? )

then use WinLogon standard, explore shell...and enabled "hibernation" in
ACPI power management, and add "Disk Dump.."

but... I still can't make it hibernation,

where is my trouble? as other masters told me, my hardware drivers haven't
installed correctly.

So....:

1. how can I check if my components for those drivers are made correctly?

2. do i need to import drivers for Intel Motherboard? (that is the only
thing I didn't import as component)

does TAP.exe already do that?

3. it is time consuming to test my new configuration. can you suggest me
some ways to test it quickly? or any tools available?

4. Under my present xp prof, can you suggest me a safe way to make a
hibernation verson of XPE?

Thanks ahead!!
