Help me anyone???

We have a laptop here at work that they purchased in 1999.
The problem we are having is that the only person that has
been using it for the past 6 months was not an
Administrator. The problem this has created is we no
longer have the Administrator password. We contacted our
old IT guy who gave up 3 passwords to try but can't
actually remember as he left the company over 1 year ago.
He does not recall where the password disc is and we
cannot get a printer onto the laptop or anything! Can any
one give me advice on how we can rectify our problem.
