Hoping that someone can offer some advice on this.

I've installed an application on Vista that doesn't run properly. I've
found the correct vista upgrade for the software but when I run the upgrade
I get a message that the older version must be uninstalled first. The
problem is that when I run the uninstaller, I get a message that the
software is not compatible with Vista and it doesn't get removed. Is there
a way to manual remove the program? I'm thinking that registry surgery will
be required - I've fine with that but I'm not clear on how to find all the
registry entries in question. Thanks for any advice.

Contact the tech support for the program for specific info on how to remove
it. There is no set procedure for where to look to hunt down all the files
and registry settings for an installed program. The program tech support is
the best resource.
