removing Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor

I have a PC that has xp pro. I download this Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor
program that check the compatibility of your hardware and software of the OS
and hardware that you currently have. There is no uninstall for the "Window
Vista Upgrade Advisor" program either in add remove sotware in control panel
or on the Windows Vista website. I got the program from the Vista website.
That was my original question. Microsoft does not know, I spoke with them.

Hi Joe,

It doesn't uninstall as it never installs. It just runs and creates the
report.

But it sure put an icon on my desktop and and my program listings. And when I
right mouse click to delete it one of the choices is to go to add remove
program, and as I said earlier there is no list of it .

Look for "Microsoft Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor" in Add/Remove. The
shortcut on the desktop doesn't show the "Microsoft". Neither does the All
Programs menu.
