Help Logging On and Passwords

Our pc was used to help a young man with his new position at our local
fitness centre. He seems to have forgotten the pass words and log-on..
at this point we have no disc and not sure what to do.

when we boot up it comes up user name, password, log into TECHSRV1104 (this
Computer) CHIMNISSING,,,

OK , CANCEL, SHUTDOWN, OPTIONS
all that continues to come it is,
This system could not log you on. make sure your user name and domain are
correct. then type your password again.
Letter in passwords must be typed using the correct case. make sure that
caps lock is not accidently on.

We try every name our young lad was using but we think someone change the
password on him..can someone help? is there a back way of getting in?

the system is 5 years old and is a Pent II CPU 450 MHZ CPU ID 0652,
Patch ID 0014

Help Please,, hate to waste a half descent pc.

Try this, it is really easy to use. It can even revoke administrator account
which has been disabled.

how do I do it, Im not sure how? any chance step by step,, can't understand
what I supposed to download and how to do it right.

1- Download: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bd050303.zip

2- Unpack bd050303.zip to a suitable location (an empty temp folder).

3- Stick a formated diskette in the diskette drive.

4- In the folder where you unpacked the files double click on
install.bat and follow the instructions. The target diskette drive is
the drive letter for the diskette, usually A.

John has given a detail explanation of how to do the job and I hope you find
it useful.

But nowadays alot of computer, especially laptop, they don't come with disk
drive. So I would prefer to use a bootable CD instead.

You can not burn using normal method like extracting the zip file, extract
the iso file and then burn the file into CD. This would not make the CD to be
bootable.

So what you need to do :

1. Download the cd060213.zip from that site
2. Unzip the file, it will be a file with .iso extension
3. You need to burn this iso file into a CD
3a. Go and download CD burning tools like Nero
3b. Burn the iso file into CD using the Disk Image option. (must use this
option)

You might need to read the help or readme if you have never use Nero before.
I couldn't include the details steps in here.
