help..jpegs and gif now pick up as bitmaps only

i have been having this problem for a few weeks and cant figure out why or what happened..i didnt change anything..before when i saved pics it would pick them up how ever they were in the site(jpegs or gif mostly)..now everything i pick up and save is bitmaps..have even went into my pics and emailed myself a jpeg, but even then when i go to save it it says that it is a bitmap..there is only the choice of bitmap to chose how to save..any help will be greatly appreciated as i have run out of options it seems..thanx..cherokeesmyles
 
Hey Cori! You rock!!! this fixed my comp. as well by deleting all temp internet files inside internet explorer "ie" thanks!!!
 
You're welcome.

You can also use DiskCleanup to do this and it will also delete any
Temporary Files that may be 'hanging around'.
