Help Is needed

i have a network set up with no servers incolved. Just Hubs and switches
connecting all 11 computers up.

One computer holds an access database on it and is shared with all the other
computers. This computer also holds the printer that again is shared. The
problem i have is that this computer runs off XP Home.

Why is it that i keep on having messages saying that there are too many
conncetions so no more can be added.

If i upgrade can i do so using a XP professional disk or will installing SP2
on home do the trick by increasing the number of connections allowed to this
computer.

Hope you can help

many thanks
david

You really need to look into using a server class OS like W2003 Server to do what you want...or use
something like LINUX or a Win Me/9X box... Personally I would go the LINUX or W2003 Server route...
