help installing XP-how do i delete WINDOWS ME ??

I recently purchased windows xp home edition....I am
wondering what I should do in order to clear my entire hard
drive and begin to install XP.
please email me aboutthis situation if you have any ideas

Get a Win 98SE Boot disk and fdisk the mutha fckr

To run a clean install of Windows XP, choose "New
installation" from the drop-down menu in the Windows XP
Setup program. When the computer reboots, it will load
into the DOS setup version, where you can format your
hard drive before installing, thus clearing your hard
drive completely.
