Help installing iTunes7 on XP SP2.

Hi
Can someone provide any assistance here please? A friend is trying to
download/install iTunes7 on his XP Service Pack 2 PC, for his iPod Nano
4G. The download seems to work okay, as a screen is displayed reporting
the download was successful but it is not clear how to proceed from
this point. An additional small IE Windows appears on screen but will
not maximise, not sure if this has any relevance? There does not
appear to be a file that gets downloaded. Has anyone downloaded iTunes7
successfully on a XP PC who can offer some advice here.

Hi Johno,
Is your friend installing in the same time instead of saving to the Desktop
and install after diconnected from the internet.
And from where he is downloading the Itunes is it from apple?.
My understanding is when your friend prompted with Download window he should
save it to the Desktop and then double click the folder to Install and then
he connect his Itunes to the computer when prompted during the Install.
Or explain what the Page or window that open minimized is saying for us to
help.
