Help in deleting auto saved passwords

T

TimO

Gidday,
When I log-on to a secure site an old password that I
have previously used continues to automatically fill in
when I enter the site.
I have tried going to tools / internet options /
content / auto complete and then clearing auto complete
history (files & passwords). I have also cleared my temp
internet files / cookies and then even my favourites,
alas, the old password continues to appear.
Are there any other files ect that I should be clearing
or places where I should be looking.
Any assistance appreciated.

When an incorrect password appears in a drop-down list,
click once on it to highlight the password, then press your
DELETE key on your keyboard.

Timo,

I've had the same problem and have now sorted it.

When you click into a username box, right click on the
name and simply press delete.

It worked for me so hopefully you'll be lucky.
