Help in deleting a file!

I am trying to delete an internet shortcut file from my Favorites folder.
When I try to delete
it, I get an error message message entitled "Error Deleting File or Folder."
It says "Cannot Delete xxx" "Cannot find specified file...make sure you
specify correct path and file name."

I have tried to delete from safe mode, from my directory and from my
Favorites directly and nothing works.

Is there anyway to delete this unwanted file?

Hi,

It seems that you have spyware in your favourites which makes it impossible to remove.

Dowload ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com or spybot from www.spybot.com and use them to remove the unwanted stuff from your computer.
