HELP.... IE not working suddenly

Hi All

Serious help required!
Last night IE worked perfectly. No new SP installed.... I opened an offline
page today, then closed it and wanted to reopen and was told the file
couldn't be found..... didn't think much about it...
Gone online and IE is not opening at all.... behaving as if it is not
installed!!!!
HELP, please!!!

Stupid question... but where could I reinstall IE from?.... can't see it on
my Win XP disk??? or am I being really silly? LOL

Would reinstalling even help..... what's going on?????

Not sure if this will help, but I'd get another browser and install it, like
Firefox. Uninstall IE, then DL a fresh copy of IE.

browser if I can't get online.... LOL... sorry it's late evening here....
you say uninstall IE.... but where... it doesn't show in the "add/remove"
list?

So how would I go about uninstalling and then reinstalling?
Off my Win XP Pro disk?
Hehehe... yes, when it comes to these kind of problems I am stooopid LOL....
I only operate a PC for my graphics work.... LOL... don't fancy the
technical side at all!

Getting Netscape from a friend..... will try that and then see if microsoft
site itself can help....

Still haven't found how to uninstall IE though LOL
