HELP!!! I have problems with OUTLOOK 2003

I received a message saying if i like to view my old emails. I clicked "NO"
and then my unread emails from August 2008 was gone. i had this problem
before, each after coming from vacation.

Please help me get back and find those emails.

And what type of email account do you have? (POP, Exchange. IMAP etc etc)

i have a POP3 account.
i tried to search for my emails using the advanced search and view options,
but it does not show me the mails.

I dont have any emails from from august 12 to august 30, 2008.

Well I am mystified because I have NEVER seen that message in all the years
I have been using Outlook. it certainly is NOT (AFAIK) an Outlook-generated
message.
Does your ISP have Webmail? If so, check as to whether the mail is still on
their server...
