HELP!!! Had to reinstall MS Outlook 2k after hardware problem...

My tech guy had to re-install Win2kPro (due to bad
motherboard), before new install, he copied all old data
to a backup then put it on my newly created desktop as a
single file (for data purposes). I found .pst file but it
only contained data that is 10 months old and older. Is
there any way I can recover all data (including e-mails
that were just sitting in my folders) in Outlook? I had
archived outlook about a week prior to the hardware
failure but do not see anything resembling a .pst that
contains newer archived info. PLEASE...ANY HELP IS
GREATLY APPRECIATED, I NEED TO RECOVER HUNDREDS OF LOST E-
MAILS!!!

it sounds like he backed up the archive file - so unless you have a copy of
*all* the data on the drive, all newer data is probably gone. If you have a
copy of all files - look in C:\Documents and
Settings\old_username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
