Help: Getting A Hard Drive Out Of A Micropolis SCSI RAID Case

D

Darren Harris

I have a Micropolis SCSI RAID 3-bay case. I know it is because the guy
I got it from said so. :)

Three snap-on panels can come off the front and also the rear, but
there is a hard drive in the bottom of the three bays, and I don't
know anything about it because I cannot figure out how to get it out
of the case.

I cannot pull it's case out because it is connected to the SCSI RAID
cable at the rear, and there is no way to disconnect it.

If my SCSI PC had not of gone down, I would have tried attaching the
case to it, since the case does light up when plugged in.

If anyone has experience with these and know how to connect/disconnect
hard drives put into these cases, I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks a lot.

Is it possible that the third bay doesn't really have a hard drive, but
is just the power supply?

There is this pull-out LED panel and what looks like an input for a
network.

Thanks.
