Help: get rid of duplicate windows in taskbar

Hi,

For some reason I got the two windows for the same appplicaiton in the
windows taskbar. For example, if I open a firefox window, then there
will be two exactly the same windows appearing in the windows taskbar.
that is very annoying. How can I get rid of one of them?

I am using windows xp tablet pc edition (with service pack 2).

The problem disappears after two restart, then comes back again after
some random time.

When I started the windows just now, there is no correponding window
showing in the taskbar for any open windw now. So this is going to the
other extreme now. How to fix this bug?
