similar capabilities. What is this next version? Is it Win 2003 Pro??

The latest version of Windows is codenamed Longhorn. It is not released yet.
The latest is Windows 2003 Server.
If your Win2k Pro is working fine, I see no reason for the change of the
Operating System.

Win XP Pro is very similar to Win 2K Pro. It is like hybrid of Win2k and Win
Me.
