Help: Fast connection in Safe Mode

All of a sudden my cable connection has tanked. Works great in safe mode, but
deadly slow on normal mode.

I'm using SURFboard SB4100 cable modem and Netgear FA311 Fast Ethernet adapter.

Click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab and see what's loading. Also update your AV software and scan your system.
