Help! Error won't let windows boot

I'm hoping that someone can help me with this. I am using Windows XP-Home
and am getting some errors that will not alow windows to boot. I just get a
blue screen that says:

UNRECOVERABLE DATA ERROR OR MEDIA IS WRITE PROTECTED

When I do a disk diagnostic through the setup screens from DOS, I get I
foudn the following errors.

Error Code OFOO:O244, MSG BLOCK 6639 463
Error Code OFOO:1A44, MSG BLOCK 6639 463

Microsoft needs the product codes to help me, and I can't get to it since it
will not boot. So, can anyone else help me? Thanks!

Nass. If you had read the link carefully, you would see that there is no support for Windows XP for
the problem described.
Did you give the wrong link?

Hi Richard,
Yes I did read the Article,but they said although there is no release or
support for WinXP in that behavior, then in the bottom they said applys to
WinsXp pro- XP Home - 2000 -etc.
so I thought that can be of a help to the OP and this the only link I can
think is nearest to the OP case, no harm in that,but anyway thanks for
mentioning that.
