Everytime I boot up my PC the install process for "Fax" error comes
up. How do I correct this? tia

Hi Sarrie,

What's the exact message shown in the dialog. Is it trying to install
Windows Fax, or a third-party Fax software?

In the msg box it is trying to install fax.. says to put in the cd-rom
and I have to push cancel 3 times to make it go away. This started
happening after I ran Power Tools registry cleaner.

ok the exact wording is: "Please wait while Windows configures FAX".
and then "Insert FAX disk and hit ok."

Sarrie,

As this problem has happened after running a registry cleaner, see if a
System Restore rollback fixes the problem.

Use System Restore to Undo Changes if Problems Occur:
