T

Tami

I am receiving an Microsoft Visual Basic error message
when I open up Excel 2000.

It says: Class not registered
Looking for object with CLSID:{AC9F2F90-E877-11CE-9F68-
00AA00574A4F}

I can use Excel without any problems but want to find out
how to stop getting this error message ... has anybody
out there run across this same problem?

Thanks!
Tami

Hi Tami,

I believe that your issue may be related to the information in the
following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

182500 VBA: Error Message: "Class Not Registered" Inserting UserForm
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=182500

The article references Excel 97; however, many of the DLL references that
must be registered remain unchanged in current versions.

Please give the steps in the article a try, and see if this addresses your
issue.

Hope this helps!
