Hi:

This USB printer works fine. Instead I have an annoying problem in that
everytime the system boots, Windows finds the printer as a new device,
attempts to install the device driver, which results in the vague message
that the driver failed to install. The printer however is installed already
and works fine. I have tried manually and automatically installing the
drivers and the end result is the same. The device driver failed to
install. I also downloaded the latest drivers from the Epson site.

BTW, Epson technical support was not very helpful. They said, "It is a
common problem with windows, we can't help you."

Any ideas on how to let Windows XP Pro SP1, know that it does not need to
reinstall the drivers for this printer.

TIA,

Pete
