Help disappearing subreports mystery in preview

Hello -

I have six reports in all; four of which have five subreports. The five
subreports are for summary information from the main report which lists the
details. The five subreports exist in the report footer.

All of these work fine, except for one and I can't seem to get it working
for print preview. All of the subreports on it disappear! Now get this -- I
have deleted the subreport and recreated it several times, even naming it
differently in some attempt to get it to work. I have also created it by
copying and changing existing reports that work, but to no avail.

The subreports are all there when I print it and even when I view the layout
view -- it's just not viewable in Print Preview, which I need for the app.

Anyone there who can shed some light on this?

Thanks for your response, Duane!

I do not have any master child property values. The subreports each have
their own query.

Any other suggestions?

Are you sure the subreports are in the report footer and not the page
footer? Are all sections and subreports set to grow?

Thanks again for replying, Duane.

They are all set to "grow" and they are all in the report footer, not the
page footer. They are in fact an exact duplicate of those subreports that
work in the other reports.

I don't get it ...

Any other thoughts? I am supposed to have this project finished shortly and
I don't know a workaround -- this happens whether I drag the subreports onto
the form, put in subreports from the toolbox and connect them, or copy the
individual reports (any of them) and try to add the subreports.

If the subreports have a record source that returns records and you don't
have any link master/child property values then I don't have a clue. I have
never seen this happen.
