Help Connection Woes

Hi-

I had to do a reinstall recently of XP pro and now when I go to download
from anywhere my downloads are stopping in the middle and what I have to do
is cancel out and re-download like 5 times per download. I have never had
this problem before. It took me like 20 tries to DL SP2. Not sure what is
going on. I have a sony vaio with xp pro. I loaded up an atheros client
2.3.0.7.7 to handle my wireless connection which doesnt seem to be helping.
I tried a lan cable to DL stuff and it worked so I am not sure what to do or
how to correct this. I also did not have this problem ever before the
reinstall. It seems to be a wireless connection issue yet i can surf the
web fine. What can I do?????????????????????????

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Jack-

I do not want to get too excited yet but so far this looks like it might
work. Do I set these settings for my network connection (ex: wireless
network adapter) when I opened the drtcp the wireless network adapter was
set to 1300 mtu I set it to 1500 mtu and it seems good. Would that have
caused my problem? Again I will be happy after I test this with 100
downloads
