Help Comparing The Soyo DRAGON 2 (SY-P4I875P) and ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a new motherboard for my one-step-below-extreme
machine. (p4 / 800Mhz FSB / 400Mhz RAM / not overclocking unless it's
simple, straightforward, and stable).

The two motherboards I found to look the best are the
ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe and the Soyo DRAGON 2 (SY-P4I875P).

Can anyone point out why one might be a better purchase than the other?

The Soyo seems to provide more doodads for the money, but I'm hoping to
find out about any possible history, hidden issues, etc. that might not of
shown up in the couple of reviews I've seen.

Thanks,

-Nikki

I've bought my last Soyo. Support from Soyo if you need it is pathetic.
Soyo, Dragon models at least, can be really picky about RAM and
voltages.

I had a Dragon+ power supply go bad. It killed the Dragon, the Athlon
XP, and the RAM.

You've got OS/2 running on this recent hardware?

I sure miss it!
