Help - Can't sign in on HP Pavilion!!!

I have an HP Pavillion with pre installed Win XP home.
When i try and sign into Windows Messenger 4.7 it tells
me the service is unavailable but when i click help it
says all systems are running. But this happens ALL THE
TIME. Whenever i try and log in it always says the same
thing. This hasnt always happened. I have had the
computer since X-Mas 2002 and messenger worked until
about 2 months ago. Can anyone help me out with this one?

I too am having the same problem. But also with OE6. I have used it
for ages to access my Hotmail account and at the same time as Windows
Messenger stopped working I could no longer log in through OE6. I can
still login through Hotmail website. It tells me that my
username/password is invalid. It isn't. And I am using the correct
cAsE as I even set it again to be certain.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
