HELP!! Can't figure out how to use my hotmail account in Windows Mail

this may work....

1.) open Windows Mail
2.) click on Tools
3.) click on Accounts
4.) select the account you want (assuming you've already set it up)
5.) click Properties
6.) select the Advanced tab
7.) verify that the Server Port Numbers (Outgoing -SMTP / Incoming - POP)
are correct (the same as Hotmails)

Hopefully, that will work...

It was so much easier with outlook. Did anyone have difficulty configuring
the hotmail account to Windows Mail? I couldn't figure out how to do it.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You don't.

Hotmail support is no longer in Windows Mail.

Might try some of the third party programs like Hotpopper or whatever it was
called.

Web based or try Windows Live Mail desktop which does support it. It is
still in beta.

hotmail is no longer supported in WM.
you can use a FREE program called HotPop to retrieve your mail in WM.
make sure you get the FREE one.
