Help, can't delete previous Task Owner in Outlook 2003

I have a new job and when I try to enter tasks, the person who had this job
before me name always shows up as the Task Owner, and when I select this
person's name and press delete, it is not deleted. Please help. Thanks.

I think that the mailbox you are using belongs to the old person, so when
you make a new Task, it belongs to their name.

What is the name shown to the right of the word Mailbox at the top of your
Folder List? I expect it will show the old user's name.

Ask your systems administrator to make you a new Profile with your name.
