Help! Cannot send or delete email in OE6

Wondering if anyone might know the solution to this problem: I open OE in the
morning and receive alot of spam, I delete the spam and everything is okay,
however the next time I open OE and attempt to send or delete emails it will
not enable me to? I have symantec virus software running and it does not
indicate anything wrong. This is very frustrating..the only way I have been
able to overcome is to completely shut down the system and restart but now it
has no effect? HELP!

Gee, I typed in Outlook Express and this is where the site brought me
too?....microsoft doesn't make things easy as usual!

I have OE6 too and was sent here as well. Just started having a similar
problem 2 days ago except my emails say they are in error still hanging in
my outbox but when I check my sent box they have been sent. I cannot
delete them out of my outbox. I just hope they are not being sent everytime
I send a new email. I see below someone else started having a similar
problem, Jim Hill 11/4/04 @1:08. There are some instructions in his
response I may give a try. I nave Norton Antivirus as well.
