HELP!!! cannot run office programs term server

administrators are the only people that can run office
programs from terminal server. other users get the error
the program.exe cannot be found

To isloate the problem's scope, please help me collect more information for
further analysis:

1. Please locally logon to the terminal server as one of the problematic
users. Does the problem occur this time?

[Note]: This test can tell us if it is a terminal service issue.

2. Please temporarily add the problematic account into the Administrators
group. Then check if the problem occurs.

[Note]: This test can tell us if the problem is a permission issue or an
uers-based configuration issue.

3. Please run Word by clicking the shortcut in Start menu and by
double-clicking the executable exe file directly. Are the outcomes the
same? If there is any error message, please write down it word by word and
let me know.

i am not sure if this is related but...
I am running Win2K TS in application mode and have applied SP4.

I am gettting re-activation messages re: Office XP due to significant
changes in hardware. From client machines, this means no access to Office XP
or Outlook.

Firstly, no changes in hardware have been done.

Secondly, when I try to activate from client machines it says already
activated.

Thirdly, from the TS server, I can run any Office XP product I ask.

So, I don't think it is an "activation" issue.....rather somewhere along the
line some link has been broken or register item is not being read.
