I'm using XP home and cannot open any files that I download from the
internet. It downloads, then when I try to open it, a little box flashes on
and off the screen and beeps at me. I have no idea what the message is
because I barely see the outline of the box flashing on the screen. Please
help me!!!!
Thank you!

What type of files are you downloading? Zip, Rar, Exe?
Possibly you don't have Winzip or Winrar installed.

Hi RaleighGirl,

You need to download and install Adobe Reader. It can be downloaded at;

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

After you download it, just double-click the file and it will launch
the install package.

They're pdf files. Got any idea what I should do?
